Motorcycle taxi stands

Motorcycle taxi drivers wear orange vests providing services at an indicated spot on the map. It can be used to travel to places without a bus or to save travel time by either calling the service at the spot or waving along the way (but may not come so often).
The fare is according to the law, starts from ฿15 per trip depending on distance. It can be checked at the banner installed at each service stands.
Some service stands may not be available on certain days and times, for example, stands at the front of the school and government offices may out of service on weekends.

Tuktuk stands
|
The frog-shaped tuktuk is considered a unique feature of Ayutthaya. The service is available in various ways:
1) Tuktuks on the streets inside the city island, especially U Thong road (around town), can be called for taking to places within the city island at a similar price for a songthaeo (modified pick-up) (฿5-10 per person). As it's not the charter price, therefore the driver would be able to get additional passengers on the way as well (can be used instead of buses).
2) Tuktuks based at the stands on the map can be chartered to deliver at various locations like a motorcycle taxi (suitable for multiple passengers at the same time). The fare can be checked at the banner installed at each service stands.
3) You can hire a tuktuk at the service stands for a day tour in Ayutthaya, cost around ฿200-300 per hour per car, or ฿800-1200 per day per car.
